2016 Canberra Skins Champions Woden Giants

The Giants took on the Comets in the final of the 2016 Skins tournament. This was not the first time these two teams have played off in the final. The Giants proved too good on this occasion and defeated the Giants 8-1. The Giants broke all records this year going into the finals with the most money accumulated in the pre-round games.

 

The game featured some of Australia’s best including Steelers, Andrew Kirkpatrick, Zenon Winters, Jeff Goolagong, Ryan Sinclair, David Edwards, Evan Byrne and Lewis Weldon. The game also included 2 Australian U/19 players Josh McGovern and Jett Wright.
